Dale and Leechia Taylor have been premarital coaches for the last 11 years and have had the opportunity to minister to over 150 couples throughout the DFW Metroplex. Married for 31 years, the testimony of how they met – truly a “divine hookup,” is proof that the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord.
Dale, an ordained minister and wedding officiant, completed his premarital coaching training from Light University. He graduated from East Texas Bible College with a diploma in theology, and holds degrees in applied science and criminal justice. During his 40 years in ministry, he has served in the role of a pastor, an evangelist, and in most recent years as a teacher.
Leechia attended Christ for the Nations and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in journalism. For over 30 years her ministry has been in the marketplace and within the mortgage, communications, insurance, property management, healthcare, and construction industries.
She strongly believes that who you marry is one of the greatest decisions that will affect your destiny. For this reason Leechia encourages single men and women not to “play” with one another’s emotions but to seek God, early on through prayer and fasting, and to “know that they know” God’s will for their relationship.
Healed from endometriosis in 1997, her testimony is that even though life may not turn out the way you had expected, God always has a plan! Leechia is anointed to pray for those in need of healing and for singles who desire God’s will regarding a mate.
Dale and Leechia are Certified Facilitators and Trainers for the PREPARE/ENRICH premarital/marital assessment and curriculum. They were also previously certified by the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (TCBAP) as Peer Mentor/Peer Recovery (PM/PRC) Coaches.
On the local church level, “Team Taylor” serves as teachers and coaches in the Becoming One Premarital Ministry at Covenant Church-Carrollton. For the last ten years, they have also served as Total Money Makeover Class facilitators at Covenant and for MakeAWay Charities. In addition, Leechia volunteers on the women’s individual coaching team.
Both having grown up in families with divorced parents, their desire is to see couples succeed in marriage. They also know, firsthand, that no matter what challenges come, a healthy, happy marriage is possible with God’s help.
